Yin & Sound

In this 5-week series we will explore the transition from late Autumn and the Metal Element to the beginning of Winter and the Water Element. Connecting our practice with the seasons, we’ll learn to let go—physically and metaphorically—just like the trees shedding their leaves, and soak up the nourishment of stillness and introspection that Winter invites. We’ll focus on grounding practices, breathwork, and gentle movement to support the body’s natural rhythm of turning inward. As we move from the clarity and refinement of Metal to the depth and wisdom of Water, this series will help cultivate resilience, restoration, and trust in the quiet cycles of renewal that sustain us through the colder months.

Building on this seasonal transition, you’ll be guided through the slow, meditative practice of Yin Yoga—an invitation to melt into shapes and land in stillness. By sending breath to sensation, we’ll deepen awareness in the body, stretching the connective tissues and improving joint circulation. With the support of props, Yin Yoga offers space for release, allowing the body to surrender and soften while holding poses. Each practice will culminate in an extended savasana, enriched by a soothing sound meditation using crystal bowls, gong, chimes, steel drums, and voice—creating a deeply restorative experience that harmonizes body, mind, and spirit.

If you're trying Yin for the first time or are a seasoned practitioner, everyone is welcome.
